Interview document disclosure via unchecked object identifiers
Published Nov 29, 2025 · Updated Dec 3, 2025
Improper authorization in OrangeHRM Starter 5.0 through 5.7 allows remote authenticated users to read interview attachments. InterviewAttachment::handle passes user-supplied interview and attachment identifiers to the retrieval service without first checking entity access. An ESS-level session without Recruitment access is sufficient; exposure is limited to confidential candidate documents, evaluations, and supporting files.
