CVE-2025-66289Network attack vector

Post-disable account access via missing session invalidation

Published Nov 29, 2025 · Updated Dec 1, 2025

Insufficient session expiration in OrangeHRM Starter 5.0 through 5.7 allows remote authenticated users to retain protected access. Account-disable and password-change flows leave established server-side sessions and their cookies valid instead of revoking or deleting them. A disabled user or an attacker holding a previously authenticated session can continue reading protected data and performing account-authorized operations.
