Privilege escalation in Mega System Technologies ClientMate 6.2.2 allows local users to gain elevated privileges through writable files. CMService.exe creates C:\usr and its subdirectories with permissions that let authenticated users replace snmp.conf or plant DLLs loaded by privileged code. Existing local access is required, and successful replacement permits configuration tampering or execution in the service's elevated context.
