Unauthenticated Arbitrary File Read via Null Byte Injection
Published Nov 26, 2025 · Updated Nov 26, 2025
Arbitrary file read in Mozart FM Transmitter 30, 50, 100, 300, 500, 1000, 2000, 3000, 3500, 6000, and 7000 allows remote attackers to read files. The download_setting.php endpoint concatenates the filename query value into /var/www/settings/, appends .tgz, and passes the result to readfile without rejecting traversal or null bytes. On the embedded PHP 5.3.2 runtime, a null byte terminates the filesystem path before the forced extension, so unauthenticated network access exposes any file readable by the web service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
