Unauthenticated code execution via unsanitized filename
Published Nov 26, 2025 · Updated Dec 3, 2025
OS command injection in affected Mozart FM Transmitter models allows remote attackers to execute shell commands through the update interface. The /var/tdf/start_upgrade.php handler concatenates the filename query parameter into an exec() command without validation or shell escaping. No authentication or user interaction is required; injected commands run under the web server account, whose exact privileges are unconfirmed.
