CVE-2025-66251Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated .tgz deletion via unsanitized deletehidden path

Published Nov 26, 2025 · Updated Nov 26, 2025

Path traversal in DB Elettronica Mozart FM Transmitter models allows remote attackers to delete accessible .tgz files over the network. In status_contents.php, the deletehidden POST value is concatenated between /var/www/settings/ and a forced .tgz suffix without path sanitization, then passed to file_exists and unlink. Unauthenticated web access is sufficient; deletion is limited to .tgz paths writable by the web-service account, so the bounded consequence is archive or firmware-file loss rather than arbitrary code execution.
