CVE-2025-66236Network attack vector

Secret disclosure via process-local log masking

Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026

Sensitive-data exposure in Apache Airflow 3.0.0 through 3.1.8 allows remote authenticated users to read secrets in task logs. The deprecated airflow.sdk.execution_time.secrets_masker import sends mask_secret calls only to the task process, so the supervisor writes matching values without redaction. Exposure requires a DAG to use that deprecated import and the attacker to have access to its run logs; the reported consequence is disclosure of logged secrets.
