Unauthenticated password guessing via trusted forwarding header

Brute-force protection bypass in WBCE CMS 1.6.4 allows remote attackers to make unlimited password guesses against any account. The login endpoint blindly uses a client-supplied X-Forwarded-For value as the counter key without confirming that a trusted proxy supplied it. No authentication or reverse proxy is required; rotating the header after failed attempts prevents the expected lockout and exposes accounts with guessed passwords.
