Authenticated command execution via injected yt-dlp arguments
Published Dec 26, 2025 · Updated Dec 26, 2025
OS command injection in lemon8866 StreamVault before 251126 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through yt-dlp arguments. The /admin/api/saveConfig endpoint stores unvalidated ytdlpargs globally, and YtDlpUtil.exec inserts them into the yt-dlp command line. Administrative access or access to the admin API plus an application token is required; a later video-processing request runs the injected command with the application process's privileges.
