Authenticated command execution via crafted HTTP requests
Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026
OS command injection in Fortinet FortiWeb 7.0, 7.2, 7.4, 7.6, and 8.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via HTTP requests. A crafted request reaches an undisclosed code locus that fails to neutralize shell metacharacters before invoking an operating-system command. The gate is a high-privilege administrative account; affected versions are 7.0.0 through 7.0.12, 7.2.0 through 7.2.12, 7.4.0 through 7.4.11, 7.6.0 through 7.6.5, and 8.0.0 through 8.0.1.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
