Stack-based buffer overflow in Hikvision access-control terminals allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted SADP packets. The hicore SADP XML parser copies unbounded start or close tag names into 128-byte stack buffers during tag finalization, allowing stack-frame and program-counter corruption. An unauthenticated attacker must reach UDP port 37020 on the terminal's local network; exploitation grants code execution or interrupts the device.
