Authenticated code execution via unchecked curTime copy
Published Jun 25, 2025 · Updated Jun 25, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-619L 2.06B01 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router via a crafted HTTP request. The boa formSetWAN_Wizard51 handler copies the curTime parameter into a stack-local variable without checking its length, overwriting the return address. Authenticated management access is required; the proof of concept causes persistent service interruption, while return-address control supports arbitrary code execution.
