Authenticated database manipulation via unsanitized FirstName
Published Jun 25, 2025 · Updated Jun 25, 2025
SQL injection in itsourcecode.com Employee Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate its MySQL database. The admin/editempprofile.php endpoint places the POST FirstName value into an SQL query without adequate validation or sanitization, permitting time-based blind injection. A valid administrator session cookie is required; exploitation enables unauthorized database reads or writes and can interrupt the service.
