CVE-2025-66050Network attack vector

Unauthenticated administrator access via empty default password

Published Jan 9, 2026 · Updated Jan 9, 2026

Authentication bypass in VIVOTEK IP7137 firmware 0200a allows remote attackers to obtain administrator access without a password. The administrative login accepts an empty password by default, and initial setup neither requires password creation nor warns that one is needed. Any network path to the management interface is sufficient; successful login grants the camera's administrative privileges without prior credentials or user interaction.
