Unauthenticated live footage access via RTSP
Published Jan 9, 2026 · Updated Jan 9, 2026
Missing authentication in VIVOTEK IP7137 firmware 0200a allows remote attackers to view live camera footage through RTSP on port 8554. The camera's RTSP service exposes its live stream on port 8554 without performing an authentication check before returning the feed. Network reachability to that port is sufficient; the disclosed impact is viewing live video, with no reported ability to alter data or interrupt service.
