CVE-2025-66029Network attack vector

Credential theft via unstripped proxy headers

Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025

Credential exposure in Ohio Supercomputer Center Open OnDemand 4.0.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to capture proxied credentials. The Apache proxy forwards Authorization, OIDC claim and access-token headers, plus mod_auth_openidc session cookies, to user-hosted origin servers instead of stripping them. Exploitation requires a malicious user to host an origin on a compute node and another authenticated user to connect to it; exposed tokens and cookies permit account or session impersonation.
