Path traversal in usbmuxd before 3ded00c9985a5108cfc7591a309f9a23d57a8cba allows local users to create or delete files as the service user. The SavePairRecord handler passes an unsanitized PairRecordID from the world-writable UNIX socket to config_set_device_record, allowing path separators to escape the pairing-record directory. An unprivileged local user can target *.plist files; winning a tight race extends operations to arbitrary filenames.
