Process-memory disclosure via unchecked EMR_POLYDRAW count
Published Mar 17, 2026 · Updated Mar 17, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Canva Affinity before 3.1.0 allows attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted EMF file. The EMF loader trusts the EMR_POLYDRAW Count value when locating the aPoints and abTypes arrays without checking that they fit within recordSize. Opening the file is required; an oversized Count produces an invalid read and access-violation crash, while Talos reports arbitrary process-memory disclosure.
