CVE-2025-65961Network attack vector

Browser code execution via template output injection

Published Nov 25, 2025 · Updated Nov 25, 2025

Cross-site scripting in affected Contao releases allows remote authenticated users to execute injected code through template output. Contao identifies affected templates as the locus but has not disclosed the template files or rendering operation that fails to neutralize injected code. Exploitation requires high privileges and reaches front-end and back-end browser output, enabling limited data access and modification without interrupting service.
