Victim-session compromise via stored CSV script
Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026
Stored XSS in ERPNext 15.88.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in another user’s browser via CSV import. With Update Existing Records enabled, the CSV import path persists a JavaScript-bearing field and later renders it as executable content in the record view. Authenticated access capable of importing CSV data is required, and execution occurs only when a user views the affected record, exposing that user’s ERPNext session.
