Persistent command execution via boot-time script parsing
Published Dec 26, 2025 · Updated Dec 26, 2025
Command injection in Delight CFW for Symbian Belle devices allows local users to execute startup commands through a crafted Delight.txt file. At boot, the MiniCMD integration reads E:\Data\Delight.txt from a user-writable directory and interprets its unvalidated contents as executable commands. Filesystem write access is required; injected commands can run binaries, alter files, persist across reboots, or force a boot loop without further interaction.
