Administrator-session script execution via unescaped error parameter
Published Jul 24, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in FunnelCockpit 1.4.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts in an administrator's browser via the error parameter. The plugin renders the error query parameter into an administrative page without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires an administrator to open a crafted link; the injected script then runs in that browser context with the administrator's session privileges.
