Unauthenticated video access via hardcoded RTSP credentials
Published Dec 22, 2025 · Updated Dec 22, 2025
Hardcoded credentials in Xiongmai XM530 firmware 5.00.R02.000807D8.10010.346624.S.ONVIF 21.06 allow remote attackers to view live streams. The ONVIF Media Service GetStreamUri endpoint embeds a hardcoded username and password in each RTSP URI returned over HTTP. An unauthenticated network request retrieves credentials that remain valid after the administrator password changes and permit direct live video and audio access.
