Unauthenticated arbitrary file write via MIME spoofing
Published Dec 2, 2025 · Updated Dec 6, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in EverShop 2.0.1 allows remote attackers to write arbitrary files through the public /api/images endpoint. The endpoint's getMulter.js validation trusts the request-supplied MIME type instead of verifying the filename extension or file contents. No authentication is required by default, enabling credential-capture pages or repeated uploads that exhaust disk space and interrupt the service.
