CSRF bypass via constant upload token
Published Dec 1, 2025 · Updated Dec 2, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in PublicCMS 5.202506.b allows attackers to bypass CSRF protection in CkEditorAdminController upload requests. The upload() method reverses the token parameters and treats the constant web_channel value as valid, bypassing the anti-CSRF check. A victim administrator must process the crafted request; the attack exposes the administrator's global CSRF token in the upload log, where a low-privilege log administrator can retrieve it for further forged actions.
