Wi-Fi network access via embedded credentials
Published Dec 10, 2025 · Updated Dec 10, 2025
Cleartext credentials in Meatmeet Pro Mobile Application 1.1.2.0 allow attackers to access or impersonate a configured Wi-Fi network. The Android application embeds a development network's SSID and password in its firmware file and reuses them for automatic Wi-Fi connection. Exploitation requires obtaining the application and reaching the network's physical area; matching access-point settings can capture the device during initial setup or grant access to the vendor network.
