CVE-2025-6571

Local credential disclosure via exposed process arguments

Published Nov 11, 2025 · Updated Nov 11, 2025

Credential exposure in AXIS OS 11.11.0 through 11.11.168 and 12.0.0 through 12.6.65 allows local users to obtain a component password. An undisclosed third-party component places its password in process arguments, where low-privileged users can read it through local process inspection. Reachability requires local access and an affected process; Axis has not identified the component or the operations that the recovered password unlocks.
