Restricted data disclosure via unchecked course IDs

Published Nov 26, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026

IDOR in ClassroomIO 0.1.13 allows remote authenticated users to disclose restricted course and student data via crafted course URLs. Course analytics, attendance, submissions, people, and marks endpoints use a URL-supplied course ID without verifying that the student's role authorizes access to the requested resources. Student-level access and a known course ID are required, and the restricted content appears briefly before access controls restore the normal view.
