Administrator credential disclosure via exposed configuration file
Published Jun 26, 2025 · Updated Jun 26, 2025
Sensitive information exposure in Hunt Electronic HBF-09KD and HBF-16NK allows remote attackers to obtain plaintext administrator credentials. The network interface serves a system configuration file without authentication, and that file stores administrator credentials in plaintext. Firmware V3.1.67_1786 BB11115 and earlier requires no credentials or user interaction for disclosure, enabling administrative access.
