Unauthenticated code execution via template injection
Published Dec 10, 2025 · Updated Dec 10, 2025
Server-side template injection in ChanCMS 3.3.4 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted POST request. The /vip/v1/file/save endpoint fails to neutralize executable template syntax in attacker-controlled POST content before template processing. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation executes code in the server-side application context.
