Open redirect via unvalidated registration return URL
Published Dec 16, 2025 · Updated Dec 16, 2025
Open redirect in Volosoft ABP Framework 5.1.0 through 10.0.0-rc.1 allows remote attackers to redirect registering users externally. The OnPostAsync handler in Register.cshtml.cs passed the user-controlled ReturnUrl directly to Redirect without validating its destination. The registration endpoint requires no authentication, and a crafted value sends the registering browser to an attacker-selected external domain.
