CVE-2025-6558Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Sandbox escape via unvalidated ANGLE input

Published Jul 15, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Improper input validation in ANGLE and GPU in Google Chrome before 138.0.7204.157 allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox via HTML. Public records identify the ANGLE and GPU processing path but do not disclose which input field is insufficiently validated or the erroneous operation. A victim must load a crafted HTML page; the bounded impact is escape from Chrome's sandbox, and Google has not disclosed post-escape actions.
