Network-interface shutdown via tokenless dashboard POST
Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in AllSky 2024.12.06_06 allows remote attackers to shut down network interfaces through the WebUI. The LAN and WLAN dashboard forms submit turn_down without an anti-CSRF token, and handle_interface_POST_and_status executes sudo ifconfig to disable the selected interface. A user with an active WebUI session must load attacker-controlled content; a successful request disconnects the interface and interrupts network access.
