External-site redirection via unvalidated redirect_url parameter
Published Jun 24, 2025 · Updated Jun 24, 2025
Open redirect in java-aodeng Hope-Boot 1.0.0 allows remote attackers to send authenticated users to external sites via redirect_url. WebController.doLogin and WebController.login read the request parameter without validating its destination, append the SSO session identifier, and return it as a Spring redirect. A successful login or existing authenticated session is required for the redirect response, which enables phishing or social-engineering navigation but does not alter server data.
