CVE-2025-65474Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Remote code execution via unchecked file rename

Published Dec 11, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025

Arbitrary file rename in EasyImages 2.0 2.8.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted manager.php link. The endpoint uses attacker-controlled p, ren, and to parameters to rename an uploaded PHP-bearing SVG as an executable PHP file without validating the destination extension. Exploitation requires a previously uploaded polyglot image and an administrator to open the crafted link, after which the renamed file operates as a web shell.
