Administrative takeover via unlimited login attempts
Published Dec 16, 2025 · Updated Dec 16, 2025
Improper login throttling in Dbit N300 T1 Pro firmware 1.0.0 allows remote attackers to gain administrative access through password guessing. The /api/login endpoint continues evaluating automated HTTP POST authentication requests without a request limit or temporary lockout after repeated failures. Unauthenticated network access to the management API is sufficient; a recovered administrator password permits configuration, DNS, and firmware changes.
