Unauthenticated database manipulation via recovery query injection
Published Dec 2, 2025 · Updated Dec 2, 2025
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Billing System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data without authentication. The /admin/password-recovery.php handler concatenates the POST username and mobileno values into a backend SQL query without validation or parameterization. The pre-login endpoint accepts crafted values that can manipulate the recovery query, disclose data, change database records, or bypass authentication.
