Stored XSS via unsanitized chatbot rendering
Published Jan 15, 2026 · Updated Jan 15, 2026
Stored XSS in SparkyFitness 0.15.8.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through persisted chatbot messages. SparkyChatInterface.tsx passes user input and LLM output to React dangerouslySetInnerHTML without sanitization, so saved HTML executes when chat history renders. An authenticated user must submit a payload and another authenticated user must view the affected history, enabling token theft and actions with the victim's session.
