CVE-2025-65346Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated arbitrary file write via ZIP path traversal

Published Dec 4, 2025 · Updated Dec 5, 2025

Path traversal in alexusmai laravel-file-manager 3.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary files via ZIP extraction. The unzip handler trusts archive entry paths without confirming that each resolved destination remains beneath the selected extraction directory. Access to the file manager interface is required; writes use the web server account's permissions, and overwriting application files or placing executable files in the webroot enables code execution.
