Authenticated file disclosure via ZIP path traversal
Published Dec 3, 2025 · Updated Dec 5, 2025
Path traversal in alexusmai laravel-file-manager 3.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files. The ZIP endpoint accepts traversal sequences in selected paths and recursively resolves them outside the configured storage root into a downloadable archive. Access to the file manager interface is required, and a crafted archive request can disclose configuration files, credentials, keys, logs, and other readable server data.
