Authenticated camera crash via uninterrupted Telnet startup script
Published Jun 23, 2025 · Updated Jun 24, 2025
Denial of service in the 70mai Dash Cam M300 20250611 Telnet service allows remote authenticated users to crash the camera. A Telnet login automatically starts demo.sh, and leaving that script uninterrupted makes the camera enter a disabled state until its battery drains and the device reboots. Exploitation requires access to the camera's local network and Telnet session; the resulting interruption disables camera operation and recording.
