Unauthenticated device crash via unchecked JSON dereference
Published Dec 10, 2025 · Updated Dec 10, 2025
NULL-pointer dereferences in Aqara Hub M2 4.3.6_0027, Hub M3 4.3.6_0025, and Camera Hub G3 4.1.9_0027 allow remote attackers to crash ha_master. The ha_master code passes NULL returned by get_json_field_or_null for missing fields directly to conversion routines, which dereference it. Reachability requires CoAP access from an adjacent network; omitting an expected JSON field deterministically terminates the core process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
