Arbitrary file disclosure via unsanitized path concatenation
Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated Dec 15, 2025
Directory traversal in SNMP Web Pro 1.1 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files through an unauthenticated HTTP request. The upload.cgi download branch appends the params value to /var/www/files/userScript/ with memcpy and strcat, then opens the resulting path without validation or canonicalization. No session cookie or authentication check gates the branch, so ../ sequences expose any file readable by the CGI process and the response also reflects params into Content-Disposition.
