CVE-2025-6525Public exploit

Unauthorized configuration changes via unauthenticated Config.cgi writes

Published Jun 23, 2025 · Updated Jun 24, 2025

Improper authorization in 70mai Smart Dash Cam 1S 20250611 allows remote attackers to change device settings over local Wi-Fi. The /cgi-bin/Config.cgi action=set handler applies attacker-selected properties without authentication or device-pairing approval. An attacker must join the dash cam's network; disabling battery-protection settings can drain the vehicle battery without alerting the owner.
