HTTP service crash via unchecked urls copy
Published Nov 20, 2025 · Updated Nov 20, 2025
Heap buffer overflow in Tenda AC21 firmware 16.03.08.16 allows remote attackers to crash its HTTP service via a crafted urls parameter. The saveParentControlInfo handler passes the urls value returned by webGetVar to strcpy, which copies it without a length check into a 0x254-byte heap allocation. Access to the router management interface from an adjacent network is sufficient; authentication and user interaction are not required.
