CVE-2025-65222Public exploit

Service crash via undersized reboot-time buffer

Published Nov 20, 2025 · Updated Nov 20, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC21 firmware 16.03.08.16 allows remote attackers to crash its HTTP service via a crafted request. The formSetRebootTimer handler parses rebootTime into integer values and uses sprintf to format them into an eight-byte stack buffer without enforcing a safe length. An unauthenticated attacker on an adjacent network can trigger a segmentation fault that interrupts the HTTP service.
