CVE-2025-65185Public exploit

Username enumeration via divergent password-reset responses

Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025

Username enumeration in Entrinsik Informer 5.10.1 allows local users to identify valid accounts through password-reset responses. The /api/change-password endpoint returns HTTP 422 with an incorrect-code message for an existing account but HTTP 404 for an unknown username. Access to the forgot-password workflow and any OTP value is sufficient to test candidate usernames; the flaw discloses account validity, not passwords.
