Script execution via unencoded textarea reflection
Published Apr 14, 2026 · Updated Apr 14, 2026
Reflected XSS in manikandan580 School-management-system 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script via the pagedes POST parameter. The administrative contact page inserts pagedes into a textarea without output encoding, so a closing textarea tag exposes following script markup to HTML parsing. Exploitation requires an administrator’s browser to submit the crafted POST request and render the response; injected JavaScript then runs in the administrator’s application context.
