Database enumeration via unparameterized date query
Published Apr 14, 2026 · Updated Apr 14, 2026
Time-based blind SQL injection in manikandan580 School-management-system 1.0 allows attackers to enumerate its database through timed POST requests. The administrative reporting script interpolates the fromdate POST value directly into a date-range SQL query, allowing injected SLEEP subqueries to create observable delays. The MITRE vector specifies no privileges, but the proof-of-concept request includes a PHP session cookie and the advisory marks authentication as unverified.
