Authenticated code execution via external path control

External path control in Hitachi JP1 management products allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code over a network. Hitachi identifies external control of a file name or path, but has not disclosed the affected component, attacker-controlled input, or unsafe file operation. A low-privileged authenticated account is required, no user interaction is needed, and successful exploitation permits arbitrary code execution on the affected Windows host.
